Public Health Sciences Department to co-sponsor Positive Aging Day

WSU's Public Health Sciences Department will co-sponsor Positive Aging Day from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at the Sedgwick County Extension Education Center, 7001 W. 21st St. North. The day will feature important topics for seniors such as preventing falls, estate planning, medications, stroke awareness, dementia care, caregiver burnout, thriving in tough times, etc. There will be at least 40 exhibitors at Positive Aging Day, all with information that pertains to seniors. Kim Moore, director of WSU's Office for Workforce, Professional and Community Education, will present the keynote address: "Advantages of Lifelong Learning."
