* WSU's Blackboard Learn environment will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. today (Friday, June 9). During that window Blackboard anticipates no interruption in service, but brief periods of intermittent connectivity issues are possible. * Join us for the 13th Annual WSU Kodaly Treble Choir Camp final performance at 5 p.m. today (Friday, June 9) in Wiedemann Hall. Admission is free. The choir, led by internationally known master teacher and conductor Elaine Quilichini, consists of 56 young people ages 9-16 from Kansas and Oklahoma.
* Giving WU Day today (Friday, June 9) is a special one-day appeal designated by the WSU Foundation to generate enthusiasm for Wichita State. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5629 for more information.
* Kognito At-Risk for faculty and staff is an online simulation to train staff and faculty to identify, talk to and refer students in distress. The training takes about 45 minutes and can be stopped and resumed at any point. To get started, go to http://www.wichita.edu/kognito and follow the directions on the page. * Bring your friends to the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes for the Rent-A-Lane special on Saturdays. Rent a lane for $15 an hour, for up to six people. Shoes are included.
