Wichita State psychology major crowned Miss Kansas 2017

Krystian Fish took the Miss Kansas 2017 crown in the finals late Saturday night (June 10) in Pratt, according to The Hutchinson News.

"People should not be defined by the disability or inabilities," Fish said earlier in the week, whose platform was "Be Unstoppable: Disability, not Definition." Fish has worked with individuals with disabilities since 2007 and is passionate about making sure they have the best quality of life possible. The Wichita native is a psychology student at Wichita State University set to graduate in 2018. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5632 to learn more about Fish from an interview on KWCH-TV 12.
