Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. This year's event runs from Monday, June 19, to Saturday, June 24. In an effort of unity, several organizations have come together for the second annual Juneteenth celebration in the spirit of revamping one of our community's oldest celebrations.
