Reminders, deadlines and events
* The next Hiring Process class is scheduled for 1:30-4:30 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, June 28). This class covers the benefit-eligible hiring process, including completion of the search forms and the roles and responsibilities of the search chair, search committee member and hiring manager. It is a great learning tool for anyone who serves as a search chair, hiring manager, potential search chair member or administrative support. Questions? Contact randi.lindquist@wichita.edu.
* WSU faculty and staff are invited to attend a retirement reception for Sandy Lopez, research grant administrator for the Office of Research, from 2-3:30 p.m. Thursday June 29, in 265 RSC. Lopez has worked in the Office of Research since 2009 and has been at Wichita State for 27 years. The reception is a come-and-go event with remarks at 2:30 p.m.
* Three student hiring process update and training sessions will be available from 10:30-11:30 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, June 28), and 9-10 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. Monday, July 10. If you are interested in participating in one of the trainings, contact Marcie Holsteen at marcie.holsteen@wichita.edu.

* The WSU School of Music invites you to join the WSU Summer Choir for an "Evening with Eugene Butler." The concert will be held from 7:30-9 p.m. Thursday, June 29, in Wiedemann Hall.
