The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is looking to hire students for its Student Outreach Team (SOT), formerly known as Shocker Call Team. SOT is comprised of a group of seven current Wichita State students who work to build relationships with prospective students and their families.

These students make calls to share valuable information related to upcoming events, application status, visit reminders and important deadlines -- as well as share their personal Shocker experiences with students so they can envision what life as a Shocker is like.

Beginning this fall, these students will assist with email and text message campaigns, as well as handwriting postcards that will be mailed. The name change allows the team to adapt to a more well-rounded model of outreach so they can continue to reach more students through varying methods.

Students make calls from 3-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
