Wichita State head volleyball coach Chris Lamb announced the 2017 volleyball schedule, which includes 11 home matches and four tournaments. The Shockers will have 20 matches in American Athletic Conference play and 10 matches against teams that participated in the 2016 NCAA Tournament. The Shockers open the inaugural season in The American on Sept. 22 at Temple and host USF for the first American match in Charles Koch Arena on Friday, Sept. 29.
In 2016, WSU finished ninth in the Shocker record books in average attendance (2,264) and finished 12th nationally in average attendance.
