* The award-winning documentary on the status of women in computer science, "Code: Debugging the Gender Gap," will be presented at 2 p.m. today (Friday, July 14) in 233 RSC. A panel discussion of industry professionals will follow the documentary.
* The Research Compliance Office will hold a come-and-go open lab from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday July 19, in Devlin Hall Innovation Hub. This is an open lab and no registration is required.
* The next session of the Hiring Process Training is 9 a.m.-noon Wednesday, July 19. This class covers the benefit-eligible hiring process, including completion of the search forms and the roles and responsibilities of the search chair, search committee member and hiring manager. * The WSU 2017-18 Visitor Guides are now available. If you would like copies of the Visitor Guide, contact Stacy Grove, the mailroom manager in admissions, at stacy.grove@wichita.edu. If you would like more than 20 copies, you will need to pick them up at the Marcus Welcome Center. Requests of under 20 will be sent through campus mail. The Visitor Guide focuses on each academic college, admissions requirements, athletics, student life and features a campus map. This guide is a great resource to hand out to guests to your office or at any recruitment event.
