* Three Wichita State alumni received national awards from the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Epifanio Elizondo, David Day and Marta Klein clinched three out of the five awards offered by the AAPA. Klein, the 2017 Humanitarian of the Year, will speak to WSU students in the physician assistant program from 1-2 p.m. today (Tuesday, July 18) in 301 Ahlberg Hall.

* Pi Gamma Mu is in need of a new advisor for the 2017-18 academic school year. If you are interested, contact Mike Berdowski at michael.berdowski@wichita.edu or at 978-5284. They are a great group of students who need someone to help them this year.

* The Research Compliance Office will hold a come-and-go open lab from 9-11 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday July 19) in Devlin Hall Innovation Hub. This is an open lab and no registration is required.

* The next session of the Hiring Process Training is 9 a.m.-noon tomorrow (Wednesday, July 19). This class covers the benefit-eligible hiring process, including completion of the search forms and the roles and responsibilities of the search chair, search committee member and hiring manager.
