Eby Construction Co. started construction on the Hubbard Hall exterior precast panel removal project this week. Phase 1 involves the demolition of precast panels on the northeast facade of the building, before moving to the northwest facade. After these panels are removed, the process will continue on the southwest corner, then move to the southeast corner. The project completion date is Thursday, Aug. 31.
The precast panels are being removed to allow access to the exterior window system, which in turn, will be removed and replaced in Phase 2 of the Hubbard Hall Exterior Improvements Project, starting later this fall.
