Allusive will be hosted by WSU's Shift Space as a Final Friday event from 6-10 p.m. Friday, July 28, at 416 S. Commerce St., #102. Admission is free. There will be a live performance by Endless Chasm from 6-6:30 p.m. and Saura Mandala from 9:30-10 p.m. Allusive delves into various modes of representation through the use of sound, installation and video. The artwork requires further inspection by either entering the space created or viewing askew in order to experience it fully. This change of perspective resists a sense of closure, leading viewers sidelong into questions of how our interpretation of information can change depending on our own bias. Allusive is guest curated by new media artist Hugo Zelada-Romero.
