In June, the Office of Admissions hosted 143 prospective students for personalized campus visits. With their guests, 323 people visited campus in June, which is a 17.5 percent increase from the prior June. Of the students who attended a campus visit, 27 percent traveled from out-of-state.

Looking at a yearly comparison, 324 more people, a 7 percent increase from the prior year, attended a campus visit from July 2016 to June 2017.

Campus visits will continue through August, though with a scaled-down approach. Academic appointments are not scheduled, given that faculty and advisors are busy enrolling new Shockers for fall 2017. When a student visits in August, they will receive an admissions presentation, a full tour of campus including Shocker Hall and a closing session with an admissions staff member.
