* The 2017 fall semester Faculty and Staff Kickoff will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, in the Shirley Beggs Ballroom, RSC. Hear from President Bardo about the issues and opportunities the university is facing this new academic year. Following the formal session, you're invited to share ideas and socialize while enjoying snacks. For those unable to attend, the event will be live streamed. Information on how to watch the event will be provided when it's available.
* Recent updates and improvements have made important changes to the way you will work with Panopto, including new Panopto recorder apps for Mac and PC and new course configuration / provisioning procedures. * The Alithea Mime Theatre, which has been in residence at WSU since Nick Johnson's arrival in 1997. The College of Fine Arts is delighted to have our faculty, alumni and students engage in this endeavor. Alithea Mime Theatre, with artistic directors Nicholas Johnson, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Orpheum Theatre in Wichita. General admission is $20, and children, seniors and military are $10. Tickets are available at Select-A-Seat at 316-755-7328 and at the door.
