Rockin' the Roundhouse, the premier fundraising event of the WSU Alumni Association and WSU Athletics, is set for Saturday evening, Oct. 3, in Charles Koch Arena. With its success built largely on the spirited sale of items in the event's live and silent auctions, Rockin' the Roundhouse depends on contributions from people like you to reach its goals in helping support Wichita State students, alumni and student-athletes. Do you have something to donate -- a unique piece of Shocker memorabilia, an exotically located time-share, a pair of tickets to a special event? Maybe you have a creative talent you'd like to share. Wichita ophthalmologist and Wichita State alumnus Sam Cohlmia '89, for example, has a flair for the culinary arts. The extraordinary dinners he has created in past years have set off dinner-party bidding wars among auction-goers and brought in megabucks to benefit the cause.
