Science Friday, the radio show heard on 374 public stations across the United States, is coming to Wichita for a night of stories about the science beneath our feet. Science Friday Live: Presented by KMUW is 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Orpheum Theatre. Doors open at 6 p.m. Did you know that until about 65 million years ago, Kansas was mostly covered by an ocean? In fact, the bones of the animals that swam there still litter our state!
