Symposium set for Upward Bound Math Science Research

The students of the Upward Bound Math Science Regional Center invite everyone to the 2009 UBMS Research Symposium. After five weeks researching, experimenting, calculating and analyzing their projects and results, these talented youths will present their research and experimental findings from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, July 10, in 218 Hubbard Hall. Topics range from the energy efficiency of the Marcus Welcome Center to the physics behind basketball rebounds at the Heskett Center to heredity analysis for UBMS Director Kaye Monk-Morgan and Curriculum Coordinator Julie Scott.
