* The UAS Tech Forum, a convergence of entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, tech transfer professionals, economic development officials and other service providers in the UAS industry, will be held in Wichita Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 30-31. The event will include a tour of the 3DEXPERIENCE Center at the National Institute for Aviation Research and a technology pitch session. * Are you ready to launch your idea? Through an interactive process, E-Launch helps you clearly conceptualize your product or service and assists you in developing a business model. The next launch will be from 1-4 p.m. Sept. 15-Nov. 3, in Devlin Hall's Innovation Hub. E-Launch has been developed to foster entrepreneurial activity that will lead to the commercialization of technology-based ideas. * Wichita State's Environmental Finance Center (EFC) is offering a free workshop for faculty, staff and students interested in learning how to make their workplace, community or homes more environmentally sustainable from 1-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Marcus Welcome Center.
