Reminders, deadlines and events

* The final day of SAC's Global Print Poster Sale is from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 23) on the RSC north patio. Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted.

* University Libraries invites graduate students to a workshop on how library resources and services can save you time and money. The next workshop will be offered from 5-6 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Aug. 24) in 217 Ablah Library.

* Missing the summer and the beach? Join SAC and Campus Recreation at our annual Beach Party from 7-9 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Aug. 24) in the Rhatigan Student Center east courtyard. Get wet on the inflatable slip and slide, learn how to surf or jump in the Heskett's pool and much more.

* Because some Verizon network antennas were relocated over the summer in the vicinity of campus, Verizon wireless customers on campus will experience a reduced level of signal strength this fall compared to previous semesters. Verizon is aware of the situation and is addressing the issue, but they do not expect to provide improvements before January 2018. Depending on your location on campus at a given time, and many other factors, you may or may not receive a usable signal at this time.

* Stop by and pick up your Student Involvement Calendar today in 216 Rhatigan Student Center. If you would like to request a calendar for yourself or a number of calendars for your department, please contact Student Involvement at getinvolved@wichita.edu or by phone at 978-3022.
