Have you ever wanted to try working in clay? Learn a few of the fundamental hand-building techniques including coil, slab and pinch construction from WSU MFA students in this participatory Senior Wednesday (for art enthusiasts 55+) "Tour de clay: Sculptural Creations" at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 15. Complimentary refreshments at 10 a.m. Free admission. Decorate your work with textures and colored surfaces. All skill levels are welcome. Come dressed to get your hands dirty. This event is held in conjunction with "On the Verge: Contemporary Ceramics," on view through Aug. 9. Preregistration is not necessary but welcomed.
