* An option is available that will eliminate using personal funds for official university business travel. It's called an iTravel Business Procurement Card. This card will allow you to use a university-provided VISA card to pay for non-per diem related business travel costs. * Faculty and staff are asked to encourage WSU students to attend the Career Connection Root Beer Kegger from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 30) in the RSC courtyard.

* Kevin Wilson from Oklahoma State University will present "Toxins that Regulate Ribosomes in Antibiotic-Tolerant Bacteria," at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 30) in 224 McKinley Hall. The talk is part of the Fall 2017 Chemistry Colloquium.

* Community Education is offering many new courses this semester. Don't miss your opportunity to learn from the experts without the worry of examinations and homework. * Planning is underway for Academic Convocation at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, in Wilner Auditorium. Part of the program will contain a video of students engaged in applied learning. We are requesting faculty to submit photos of students from your courses who are participating in applied learning.
