* The first weekend of every month Papa John's will donate a percentage of their proceeds to Shocker Rowing when the code WSUROW is used. The code can be used in the store, on the phone and online. This code works in the six Wichita stores and in Andover and Derby. You can use whatever coupons you find online in addition to our code.
* PeopleAdmin is the university's applicant tracking system for hiring benefits-eligible positions. This is a hands-on class that will prepare you for the development of position descriptions, filling positions and navigation of the PeopleAdmin system. Register through myTraining in myWSU. * The WSU Office of Research invites you to its first Research Workshop of this academic year. Plan to attend "The Anatomy of a Patent" workshop from noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, in 405 Jardine Hall. The workshop will be a brown bag event, so bring your lunch -- tea, water and dessert will be provided. * The Office of Human Resources (HR) has announced an update in the area of benefits administration. We have developed a centralized Total Rewards team, designed to efficiently and effectively serve our employees. For future communications, please email totalrewards@wichita.edu with general questions and concerns related to topics such as health insurance, retirement, tuition assistance, workers compensation, Fair Labor Standards (FLSA) and Family Medical Leave (FMLA), etc.
* All faculty, administrative and unclassified staff women and wives are invited to join WSU Women's Association. Annual dues are $15. The first meeting and annual event will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at the home of President and Mrs. Bardo.
