Visit more than 20 different community-based organizations and learn more about volunteer opportunities in the Wichita metro community at the Volunteer Fair from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. today (Monday, Aug. 28) on the first floor, RSC. * Come to Ablah Library today (Monday, Aug. 28) for your scavenger hunt materials and join the scavenger hunt through noon, Friday, Sept. 1. * University Libraries (UL) invites graduate students to a workshop focused on how using library resources and services can save them time and money. This workshop will be given from 5-6 p.m. today (Monday, Aug. 28) in 217 Ablah Library and 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, in 204 Ablah Library. * Interfraternity Council (IFC) and Student Activities Council (SAC) invite you to take part in Walk a Mile, the worldwide march to stop and end rape, sexual assault and gender violence. We encourage men to walk a mile around campus in high heels and women in sneakers to symbolize walking in someone else's shoes. The event will be from 5:30-7 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Aug. 29) at the RSC east patio. Heels will be provided but are limited. Early registration will close today (Monday, Aug. 28) at midnight. * Are you looking for a fun, educational and loving place for your pre-K child? The Wichita State University Child Development Center (CDC) has an immediate opening on our Prekindergarten room for this school year. * Let's kick off the school year right and soak up the fun. The Foam Drop Dance Party will begin at 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, on the RSC east courtyard. Admission is free.

* Science Friday is coming to Wichita for a night of stories about the science beneath our feet. Science Friday Live: Presented by KMUW is 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Orpheum Theatre. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at http://www.KMUW.org
