It's on! Wichita State's annual Clash of the Colleges from 4-8 p.m. today (Friday, Aug. 25) at Cessna Stadium includes inflatables, relay races, water balloons, team sports and a competition between academic colleges to determine who rules the school. The event is sponsored by the Office of First-Year Programs.

Following the Clash of the Colleges, a Cut H8 Launch Party will be held from 8-11 p.m. today (Friday, Aug. 25) in the RSC east courtyard. The event will include a DJ, pizza, glow sticks, silly string, T-shirts and door prizes.

Wichita State students have partnered with the Division of Student Affairs to create Cut H8 Wichita State, a top-priority initiative started this summer that empowers all students, faculty and staff to work together to create an inclusive and welcoming campus community in which individuals and the free expression of ideas are valued. The initiative is being spearheaded by graduate student Rheanna Pierce and senior Josh Villa.
