State mandates changes to Worker's Compensation Program at Wichita State University

Wichita State participates in the State of Kansas State Self-Insurance Fund (SSIF) for work-related injuries. The state has recently mandated a change to the program that will no longer permit Student Health Services to provide treatment to employees.

State Self-Insurance Fund (SSIF) is the agency responsible for reviewing and determining whether or not an on-the-job event is compensable under the State of Kansas Workers Compensation Program.
