The University Police Department (UPD) apprehended three individuals who were going through unlocked vehicles in lot 1 west of Koch Arena along Hillside and lot 16 south of lot 1 along Hillside. This occurred around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26. There was a previous incident in which another individual was apprehended the previous weekend doing the same thing in lot 3 in the northeast corner of Cessna Stadium along 21st Street.

Many times criminals are opportunists who enter unsecured areas or vehicles and take unattended items. UPD urges the WSU community to lock your vehicles and keep any valuable items out of sight.
