* University Libraries (UL) invites graduate students to a workshop focused on how using library resources and services can save them time and money from 1-2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 30) in 204 Ablah Library. * The 13th Amendment to the Constitution abolished slavery in the United States. The film "13th" examines the way that America's prison system has become another form of slavery for American minority populations. The film screening, hosted by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Wichita Public Libraries, will be held at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Aug. 31) in the CAC Theater.
