Members of WSU's Student Veterans Organization (SVO) are banding together to help the Hurricane Harvey relief effort in Houston. A collection point for survivors and first responders is being set up in the Student Military and Veteran Center in 105 Grace Wilkie Hall. The SVO is communicating with the local region liaison from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regarding what is needed.

At this time, nonperishable food items -- excluding water bottles -- are being requested. Needs may change as time goes on. Go to http://bit.ly/2x1WdKV for updated information. Students in charge of the Shocker Food Locker, also located in Grace Wilkie Hall, have agreed to handle overflow if necessary.
