* A Paying for Graduate School workshop will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 7) in 266 RSC. Graduate School Dean Dennis Livesay will introduce the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program to interested STEM discipline first-year grad students / undergrad seniors. Recipients receive three years of support.
* All are welcome at the Society of Manufacturing Engineers' first meeting at 2 p.m. Friday, Sep. 8, in the Engineering Building, Room 211. We will discuss events and opportunities that SME can offer you. Free pizza included.
* Help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and learn more about mental illness and the resources available. Discuss the issues facing WSU students regarding mental health so you can be part of the solution. Join Mind Matters for its first semester meeting from 2-3 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 7) in 007 Rhatigan Student Center.

* The website volunteerICT is a partnership between WSU and the United Way of the Plains to help students access volunteer opportunities in their community. WSU's volunteerICT site will be populated with opportunities from more than 120 community partners on United Way's Volunteer Center. As you track your hours through this site, volunteerICT will compile all your activities into a volunteer resume.
