* In accordance with the Council on Academic Accreditation's (CAA) Public Comment policy and procedures, the CAA is seeking public comment as part of its review of the clinical doctoral program in audiology and the master's program in speech-language pathology at WSU. The meeting will be from 4:30-5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, in 191 Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Enter at door J on the east side of the building. * Successful development of Student-Focused Service Standards starts with input from all constituent groups -- faculty, staff and students. To ensure input from the diverse group of persons who represent all of us who serve and are served by the university, focus groups will be held today (Tuesday, Sept. 12), Wednesday, Sept. 13, and Thursday, Sept. 14, for this purpose. * Jacob Gross from International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) will visit campus today (Tuesday, Sept. 12). He will have a table set up on the first floor, RSC, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. He will present information on ISEP programs for WSU students at 4 p.m. in 266 RSC.

* PeopleAdmin is the university's applicant tracking system for hiring benefits-eligible positions. A hands-on class tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept. 13) will prepare you for the development of position descriptions, filling positions and navigation of the PeopleAdmin system. * Student Perception of Teaching Effectiveness (SPTE) Request forms will be mailed to your department in the next couple of days. * University Libraries is hosting the workshop "Patent Searching Part 1: U.S. Patents" from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, in 217 Ablah Library.
