* Student Health Services invites you to an open house celebrating the 40th anniversary of James Keller, M.D., medical director. Join us in thanking Dr. Keller for his continued service from 2-4 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept 13) with light refreshments in Student Health Services, 209 Ahlberg Hall. Comments start at 2:30 p.m.

* Celebrate Hispanic Independence Day with Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity and Hispanic American Leadership Organization and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 14) on the RSC east patio.

* Faculty and students are invited to attend the first talk of the Fall Language and Linguistics Colloquium Series. Dale Koike, professor of Spanish and Portuguese Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin, will give her presentation "Teaching for Intercultural Awareness," at 3 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 14) in 208 Hubbard Hall.

* "Benchmarks for Success Among Community Health Systems Improvement Initiatives" will be presented by Vincent Francisco from 3:30-5 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 14) in 111 Lindquist Hall. Francisco is a Kansas Health Foundation Professor of Community Leadership and Schiefelbush Institute for Life Span Studies at the University of Kansas.

* Join us for the first Phenomenal Women meeting from 5:30-7 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 14) in 142 RSC. This program focuses on undergraduate and graduate women of color at WSU.

* University Libraries is hosting the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's virtual "Quarterly Trademark Tuesday Program" from 12:30-2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, in 217 Ablah Library.
