ShockerAlert System to be tested Friday, Sept. 22

There will be a text of the ShockerAlert System around 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, to ensure that campuswide emergency communication channels are functioning properly. During the test, messages are delivered via digital display boards, TV monitors, WSU website, email, Alertus, Facebook and cell phone texting. ShockerAlert will only be used to send emergency messages and to announce campus weather closings.

As an innovation partner with WSU, you will have your employee email address preloaded into the ShockerAlert System. You may choose to add up to two additional email addresses and three cell phone numbers to receive the alerts. To update your contact information that is registered with the ShockerAlert System, log into myWSU.wichita.edu and click the Update ShockerAlert contact information link.
