AHINSA, Association of HINdu Students in America, invites faculty, staff and students to Garba Night at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, in the RSc'S Shirley Beggs Ballroom. Admission is free. Garba is a traditional Indian dance form performed in the state of Gujarat, India. This dance is performed during the festival of "Navratri." "Navratri" is a nine-day festival celebrated by praying and thanking the different goddesses in Hindu mythology. There will be awards for best dancer and best dressed male and female.
