'New Rules: How Cybsersecurity Touches Everything ...'
Abstract: Organizations and governments of all types face shortages of skilled people who both possess a technical understanding of the principles and mechanics of cybersecurity and are who able to effectively communicate about "cyber risks."
This talk will explore how cybersecurity is understood and managed in the worlds of governance and business, and will focus on how students can prepare to contribute and make an impact to cybersecurity decisions in the environments where they will eventually work.
This is a non-technical talk, and will be accessible for students from a diverse range of academic backgrounds, including engineering, computer science, entrepreneurship, business management, economics and political science.
