KS PTAC to host Defense Contract Audit Agency program on federal contracts and proposals
Sherry Kobus, small business program manager for the Defense Contract Audit Agency in Washington, D.C., will lead the program, which will focus on key contract provisions and preparing adequate pricing proposals.
Sessions will include:
- Contract Briefs: Reading a contract to identify, understand and consolidate key contract provisions; Determining the allowability, allocability and reasonableness of costs to be billed
- Proposal Adequacy: how to prepare adequate price proposals, including a summary of individual material quantities, proposed labor rates and subcontracting
The program is designed for businesses that work with the federal government to better understand items that will assist them in preparing proposals. Additionally, the program will provide information on performing on federal contracts.
