City crews working on the 17th Street re-paving project will reconfigure water mains and water taps today (Tuesday, Sept. 19) that serve several campus buildings. This work will shut down water service to the following buildings from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.: Coleman Tennis Complex, Henrion Hall, Fiske Hall, CAC Theater, Elliott Hall and Brennan Hall I, II and III, although the Brennan Hall water shutdown should be completed by 10 a.m.

Restrooms, water fountains, kitchenette sinks, service sinks and any process equipment cooling water systems will be out of service during this time. We regret the inconvenience. Efforts were made to schedule at another time, but city and university scheduling provided no better window of opportunity for this work. If all goes well, it is hoped that the work can be completed in six or fewer hours.
