The Student Outreach Team (SOT) in the Office of Admissions is off to a great start this academic year. From July 1-to Sept. 14, SOT has made 7,634 calls to prospective students. Last year during this same date range, SOT had made 2,363 calls. Currently, SOT has been focused on inviting students to attend the Discover Wichita State programs. They are beginning to invite students to Black & Yellow Days as well as to compete in the Distinguished Scholarship Invitational. SOT is comprised of a group of 10 current WSU students who work to build relationships with prospective students and their families.
