* Stop by the Rhatigan Student Center from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 27) in the RSC's Fast Break Lounge for RSC Unplugged featuring Patz. Grab a cup of coffee and relax with some great music.

* Kelsey Harper, a doctoral candidate at Texas A&M University, will give a talk "Minority dialects in contact: Peruvian Spanish in the U.S.," in the Language and Linguistics Colloquium Series at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 27) in 208 Hubbard Hall. This talk is free and open to public.

* Today (Wednesday, Sept. 27) the Bookstore has two styles of long sleeve T-shirts for just $10. They are available in sizes small-3xl in store while supplies last, so hurry in and grab yours.

* Wichita State's Kari Ehrmann will present a Physics Seminar at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 27) in 128 Jabara Hall. Ehrmann's talk is titled "Stellar Opacity Calculations using Molecular Absorption Coefficients." Refreshments and discussion will follow the presentation.

* Maurizio Del Poeta from Stony Brook University School of Medicine, will present the next Chemistry Seminar at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 27) in 224 McKinley Hall. The talk is titled "The R&D of a new class of antifungal agents."

* A Graduate School Professional Development event, co-sponsored by Instructional Design & Technology will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 28) in 265 RSC. Learn what an LMS is and about the emerging landscape surrounding accessibility in "Preparing to Teach in the Modern World." * A come-and-go open lab will be offered for those involved in editing / approving the general information sections of the upcoming catalog from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 28) in 122 Jabara Hall. It will be a hands-on opportunity to have questions answered. A short introduction to the software will take place during the first 30 minutes of the session. Registration is not required.
