* The annual ceremony of remembrance for those who died in the 1970 Wichita State University plane crash will be held at 9 a.m. today (Monday, Oct. 2) at Wichita State University's Memorial '70, located near the 18th Street and Hillside entrance to the university.

* Representatives from Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, Princeton University and Tufts University will discuss academic programs, admission requirements, financial aid and career opportunities for students with graduate degrees in international affairs. The information session will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 3) in 262 RSC.

* The Great Plains Refugee Project is hosting "Refugees Welcome: Stereotypes and Perception on the Refugee Crisis from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in 142 RSC. Come and learn how stereotypes impact the refugee crisis and refugee community. Guest speakers from the International Rescue Committee and Episcopal Migration Ministries will be attending.

* University Libraries is hosting the workshop "Introduction to Endnote" for all students from noon-1:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, in 217 Ablah Library. * The International Student Union announces fall 2017 Interfest: International Food Festival from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, in the Neff Hall courtyard. Each semester, WSU students prepare and sell dishes from their native countries for this event. * Get a checkup for your dental health. AEGD and the Delta Dental Foundation of Kansas Dental Hygiene Clinic will provide free dental health screenings for WSU students, faculty and staff from noon-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, in 266 RSC. Walk-ins only.
