The WSU School of Music presents Banda Hispanica and the Jazz Arts Ensemble in concert at 7:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 4) in Miller Concert Hall. Banda Hispanica is WSU's Latin Jazz Ensemble and features a variety of works from the Latin Jazz tradition, many arranged by the group's director, professor John Goering. The Jazz Arts Ensemble will perform a variety of music from some of the greatest arrangers of big band music: Bob Mintzer, Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson and Bob Brookmeyer.
