During the 2008-09 academic year, about 1,400 WSU students received a total of $3.3 million in scholarships provided through the WSU Foundation. With so many news stories about the severe global economic downturn continuing to monopolize the media, WSU Foundation President and CEO Elizabeth King wanted to begin this year communicating solid information to our Shocker supporters.
