Student-Focused Service Standards feedback sessions start today (Tuesday, Oct. 10)

We thank the 160 faculty, staff and students who participated in the recent focus groups to discuss Student-Focused Service Standards. The participants identified excellent ideas for things we can all do to create a WSU brand of service excellence which will result in a positive experience for all who serve and are served by the university. These standards will support Strategic Enrollment Management and the fulfillment of university goals by delivering excellent service and creating a community of higher education in which we will all be proud.

The next feedback session is from 11-11:30 a.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 10) in 142 RSC. Additional sessions will be held from 9-9:30 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 11) in 306 RSC, and 3:30-4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, in the CAC Theater.

Based on input from the focus groups, we are developing service standard statements and the behaviors that support them. These will be presented at open sessions and we encourage faculty, staff and students to attend and provide feedback. Once finalized, the service standards, along with a plan for adoption will be presented to the president's executive team for approval.
