Students are invited to hear Phyllis Bennis speak at the 72nd United National Anniversary Banquet on Saturday, Oct. 21, sponsored by the Global Learning Center of Wichita. The social starts at 6 p.m. with dinner and awards at 6:30 p.m., followed by the presentation at 7:30 p.m. Bennis will talk on "U.S. Foreign Policy, Wars and Terrorism: ISIS abroad, Islamaphobia at home." Bennis is a fellow of the Institute of Policy Studies in Washington, D.C.
