Reminders, deadlines and events

* Do you want to boost your entrepreneurial skills this month? The Business Booster Series is here to help. Don't miss an opportunity to hone in on your marketing skills on Friday, Oct. 13, in the second floor, Devlin Hall Innovation Hub. Matthew Rupp will present "Marketing in the Age of Google" from 8:30-11:30 a.m. The cost is $99, $10 for WSU students. * Members of the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes EAT.DRINK.PLAY Rewards Program in the RSC can enjoy a special weekly session of cosmic bowling exclusively for rewards program members. Members pay just $5 per person for two hours. The members-only cosmic bowling is from 6-8 p.m. every Saturday in October. If you are not already a member, joining is free and easy. Simply stop by the sports grill counter or customer service to sign up.

* The University Bookstore is selling new pink merchandise in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For each item sold, $1 will be donated to Victory in the Valley, which provides support to cancer patients, survivors and their families in the area. There will be two T-shirt options and a pink quarter-zip sweatshirt featured for $9.99 and $16.99 respectively. This offer is good while supplies last and is valid in-store only.

* WSU has Amazon Locker service as a delivery option for your Amazon orders at the university. The lockers are located west of the Grace Wilkie Hall shuttle bus stop at parking lot 15 on Wichita State's main campus, between the Heskett Center Gymnasium and Grace Wilkie Annex. Locker deliveries don't add any cost, are safe and secure, and you know exactly where to pick up your packages. They are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can use the lockers for delivery on eligible orders, to return items to Amazon, or to ship things you might sell on Amazon's Marketplace.
