The Purple Mile is a walk to increase domestic violence awareness and show support for survivors from 9-10 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 14) beginning and ending on the east side of the RSC. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend. This event is sponsored by the Wichita / Sedgwick County Domestic Violence / Sexual Assault Coalition, Wichita State's School of Community Affairs, Division of Diversity and Community Engagement, School of Social Work, WSU Police Department, Criminal Justice Student Association, Pepsi and Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes.
