Gift pledge pushes fundraising for new business school to nearly $10 million

The campaign to raise private funds to build a new home for the W. Frank Barton School of Business is nearing the $10 million mark, thanks to a significant gift pledge from an anonymous donor. The pledge is the largest committed to date for the $56 million project, half of which will be raised through donations. Wichita State will cover the remaining $28 million.

One of the key reasons the donor wants to support the new facility is a belief that it is essential to educating and preparing students to be tomorrow's business leaders and work force members.
