Humane Water International to bring clean water information to Wichitans

Humane Water, a nonprofit charitable and scientific organization that provides clean water and secure sanitation and hygiene to impoverished nations, wants to share valuable information with Wichitans. The organization is holding the Humane Water International Conference from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex.

The conference is available for everyone ages 13 and up, and will focus on how to reduce and / or solve issues related to water, sanitation and hygiene and the ecosystem while engaging the younger generation to take leadership in protecting the environment.

Humane Water wants to share knowledge and experience with multidisciplinary participants, including scientists, physicians, social workers, community leaders and students.

Speakers for the conference include Mayor of Wichita Jeff Longwell, President of Wichita Area Technical College Sheree Utash, seven Wichita State professors and many more.
