Andrea Banke will perform an oboe recital at 7:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 24) in Wiedemann Recital Hall as part of the Faculty Artist Series. Her playing has been featured on NPR's Performance Today. The Argus Leader Newspaper in Sioux Falls has called her playing "a thread of gold," and the International Double Reed Society Journal as "(showing) lots of flair, verve and technique."
