Project to build ride-on cars for children with disabilities

EPICS in IEEE at WSU in collaboration with EECS Department Student Honor Society (IEEE-HKN) is looking for volunteers to work on an engineering community service project building ride-on cars for children with disabilities. This project is funded by the EPICS in IEEE program. As part of this program, IEEE-HKN will organize a community build of 10 cars from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, with the corporation of IEEE-HKN volunteers, high school students, engineering students and physiotherapy students. The cars will then be delivered to families that same day. You will work with one of the teams to build a car. For engineering students, this is a great opportunity to use your engineering skills to give back to the community.
