The School of Music Wind and Percussion Department sponsored our Middle School Band Day on Oct. 18, with 289 students from schools as far away as De Soto attending sessions and master classes with the music faculty and WSU band students. This has been an annual event, but registration this year was so great we added a second day, which will occur today (Wednesday, Oct. 25). We're expecting another 250 students. The photo above shows the 30 trombone students who attended last week's event.
