Join the Wichita State University Libraries and Library Associates in celebrating the Wichita African American Business History Project at a reception from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, in the lower level, Ablah Library outside Special Collections. Remarks by Robert E. Weems, Jr. and Willard W. Garvey distinguished professor of business history and creator of the Wichita African American Business History Project, will begin at 3 p.m. Weems has donated the artifacts and interviews of his project to Special Collections and University Archives. The reception will be the first public viewing of this collection. This event is sponsored by WSU Libraries and the Library Associates. It's free and open to the public.
